Baruntse Expedition
Baruntse is one the most significant peak lying close to Makalu, other 6,000m smaller peaks and between the Barun, Hongu and Imjatse valley of Khumbu. Geoff Harrow and Colin Todd first climbed this peak on 30th May 1954 by the South East ridge, which we use for our ascent too.

Putha Hiunchuli is the last 7000m marking the end of the snow-capped range and also sometimes referred to as Dhaulagiri VI.
